A. Complaints/ Fault Booking

 Fault Control  section  has been entrusted with the job of coordinating between different field  units with  the aim of   restoring the  faulty  circuits/ systems in the shortest possible time. The process involves analyzing and sectionalizing  the faults and pursuing with the concerned stations. Fault Control centers handle complaints received from departmental as well as other users of leased (long distance)  circuits. For  speedy  pursuance  of fault & restoration, end users of long distance leased circuits may book complaints with F/C units mentioned below and if F/C personnel is not available, complaints may be lodged in respective maintenance divisions as the case may be :-

C. Feasibility (Provisioning of circuit slots)

Requisition for hiring of any slot of  BSNL long distance network pertaining to Eastern Zone should be made through respective territorial circle which deals with all commercial aspects. On valid requisition only, the feasibility and allocations are issued by ETR for commissioning of the new circuits/slot of specified capacity/bit rates.
